Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is a full-time remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from home while still having the option to use our Sheffield office for hybrid working when needed. You’ll occasionally be required to attend the office for team meetings, collaborative sessions, client visits, or key project delivery milestones.
Occasional on-site attendance will be required for team collaboration, client meetings, or project delivery. As a Senior Project Manager at Sixty-Forty, you will lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of large-scale international events and exhibitions. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring strategic alignment while driving operational excellence. This role demands exceptional leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to mentor and inspire junior project managers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead high-value, complex event and exhibition projects from concept through to completion
· Act as the senior client partner, building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships at all levels
· Oversee project strategy, schedules, budgets, and resourcing, ensuring delivery against key milestones
· Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and coordinators, supporting their professional growth
· Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and partners to secure best value and quality
· Monitor and mitigate project risks, proactively finding solutions to challenges before they impact delivery
· Ensure all projects uphold Sixty-Forty’s standards of innovation, quality, and sustainability
· Represent the company on-site at events globally, ensuring flawless execution of installations and client experience
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum of 4–7 years’ professional experience in project management, with significant exposure to large-scale international events or exhibitions
· Proven track record of managing high-value budgets and delivering complex projects to tight deadlines
· Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring project teams
· Exceptional client relationship management skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
· Advanced organisational and multitasking abilities, with strong financial acumen
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
· Proficiency with project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com) and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Degree in Project Management, Events, Business, or related field (desirable)
· Commitment to sustainable and environmentally conscious project delivery
