Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and driven 3D Designer to join our team in Sheffield. This is a full-time position that is primarily remote (work from home), with occasional on-site work required for team collaboration, client meetings, or project delivery.
As a Designer at Sixty-Forty, you will play a key role in shaping creative concepts and turning ideas into striking, practical solutions for global events and exhibitions. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and production partners to deliver high-quality designs that inspire, engage, and align with brand and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present design concepts for a variety of international events and exhibitions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and brand objectives
- Produce detailed technical drawings, 3D renderings, and compelling presentation visuals
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs
- Uphold brand consistency and design standards across all deliverables
- Balance creativity with functionality, ensuring designs are both innovative and practical
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in event or exhibition design
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- 3D Studio Max with V-Ray
- AutoCAD (desirable)
- Strong ability to manage projects from concept to execution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence in presenting to clients
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with sustainable and environmentally conscious design solutions (advantageous)
- Portfolio of recent design work required
