At Sixty Eight People, we help the best talent in the sector find roles they love whilst helping the best operators find the talent that supports their growth plans. To us, recruitment is an art form. It’s not just sending CVs and hoping for the best.

As a talent manager at Sixty Eight People you will:

  • Deeply understand the hospitality sector and develop (to expert level) an understanding of what high performance looks like within operations, people, marketing and finance.
  • Have the ability to gain trust from candidates as a result of taking the time to listen to their needs and wants. You will be able to prioritise motivators and only highlight roles they will flourish in.
  • Have the knowledge and skills to expertly advise and support the industry’s best operators when it comes to recruitment. Adding value is a non negotiable.
  • Deeply understand ‘fit’. What skills, behaviour and knowledge performs well in a specific context, work environment and culture.
  • Create long term relationships with both clients and candidates, finely balancing expertise, empathy and humour.

We talk about being different, which isn’t always easy to showcase in words, but here are a few things I think make us different:

  • Our consultants focus on account management, service and delivery. None of this ‘50 sales calls’ before you leave. A different department looks after new business.
  • Our leadership team walks the talk. Offering a supportive environment where feedback matters. It’s not an easy ride, we obsess over the detail and are passionate about data and metrics, but we problem solve as a team, with accountability playing a key role at all levels.
  • We operate a 4 day working week, where 100% of productivity is delivered in 80% of the time with 100% of the pay and benefits. Ask us about our 4DW journey and we can tell you all about it.

What experience works well for us?

  • Agency experience of 1-3 years certainly aids consultants in reaching their potential. Although I’d caveat that with many habits having to be ‘unlearnt’.
  • Hospitality experience is a key driver in our decision making, but you may have gone on to be a recruiter in a different market and want to step back in.
  • If you don’t have agency experience, an understanding of hospitality operations is key, you might be an AGM, GM or even BDM with a passion for people and considering a change in career.
  • Behaviour trumps experience so if you can solve problems, build lasting relationships, are highly organised, communicate like a pro and have the drive to develop yourself and achieve results - we could be your place.

What’s in it for you?

  • Base Salary of £35k
  • 4 day working week
  • Birthday and anniversary events
  • Team social fund.
  • Access to Vitality health & wellbeing
  • Long service rewards
  • Enhanced parental leave

If this sounds like a bit of you, drop us a line and let’s have a conversation.
