Our client is one of the UK's leading creators of party-led bar and nightlife venues. Founded in 2024, the business is gearing up for an ambitious rollout strategy this year and beyond. Every venue is designed to deliver a unique, memorable experience — from lighting and playlists to glassware, the details are what set their venues apart. The business is led by an experienced senior leadership team where people come first.

This is a brand-new People Business Partner role, created as the business builds out its People function from the ground up to support its rapid growth. The business is roughly six months into establishing three core HR pillars — Business Partnering, People Operations, and Learning & Development — and there is genuine scope for this person to help shape policy and process as the business scales, not just deliver business as usual.

Reporting to the People Director, the role encompasses the South West with approximately 12–13 sites across the group’s brands.

The Person

  • Multi-site HR Business Partner experience
  • Multi-brand / multi-concept experience
  • Hospitality background – strongly preferred (casual dining, bars, late-night/licensed trade)
  • A blend of ER/legal knowledge and ops/commercial exposure
  • Comfortable spending the majority of time in venues – this is not a desk-based or remote role
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and pace – priorities can change daily
  • Strategic, “big picture” thinker – solutions need to be scalable as the business keeps growing
  • Personable and sociable – builds trust quickly in a relationship-led hospitality culture
  • Collaborative team player – works closely with other Business Partners and buys into shared team culture
