With multiple sites already thriving and more on the horizon, they’re building a strong senior team to support their next phase of growth. What will you be doing?
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers, including communication with suppliers.
- Reviewing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC.
- Overseeing weekly payroll for 400+ employees, including Nest pension integration.
- Managing petty cash transactions using Pleo.
- Reconciling finance accounts, direct debits, and completing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Recording daily sales from the EPOS system.
- Completing month- and year-end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Posting accruals and prepayments.
- Producing quarterly management accounts.
- Supporting wider finance activities as required.
A bit about you… You’ve worked in hospitality finance and understand the sector’s pace. You’re confident using Xero, including system integrations. Experience with Sage Payroll is a bonus. Your Excel skills are strong. You understand bookkeeping, VAT, and tax inside out. You’re organised, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy. Ideally, you hold AAT Level 4 or have equivalent experience.
