The kitchen is looking for a Head Chef who can lead with calm confidence, create inspiring dishes, and build a supportive culture where the team can thrive and develop.
What you'll get up to:
- Take full ownership of the kitchen, leading a calm, organised and supportive brigade through busy service.
- Design and deliver a seasonal menu with a modern British twist with full creative ownership of the food offer - the aim is to get a rosette!
- Develop and mentor apprentices and junior chefs, creating a kitchen culture built on learning, patience and progression.
- Drive food quality and consistency while maintaining the standards required for future Rosette recognition.
- Oversee kitchen operations including rotas, stock, compliance and food safety, ensuring smooth and efficient service every day.
- Work closely with the General Manager to evolve the food offering and build the pub's reputation as a local dining destination.
