This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the Brand division within one of London's most exciting event catering businesses. Known for delivering exceptional food-led experiences for some of the world's most recognisable brands, this is a business with a serious reputation and serious ambition.

Reporting directly into the MD, you'll join the senior leadership team at a pivotal moment of growth, leading a team of four brand and events managers and taking full accountability for the commercial performance and strategic direction of the division. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for an entrepreneurial leader who is as comfortable in a boardroom as they are on the floor of a live event.

The Role

As Head of Operations, you will have full strategic and operational responsibility for one of the business's most commercially important units. You'll own the end-to-end performance of the division from sales strategy and new business development through to event execution, client relationships, and team leadership. Based at HQ in East London, you'll set the direction for the Brand team, drive revenue growth, and play a central role in shaping the wider business strategy. This role demands commercial sharpness, operational excellence, and genuine leadership.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Lead the Brand division as a core business unit, with full accountability for strategic direction, commercial performance, and growth.
  • Drive revenue growth, owning divisional targets and margin improvement.
  • Build and execute a cohesive sales strategy, developing relationships with targeted venues and securing new listings.
  • Manage inbound sales enquiries, converting opportunities into commercially viable brand events.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of all Brand division events, ensuring exceptional standards from concept through to execution.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of four brand and events managers, creating a high-performing, accountable team culture.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, suppliers, venue partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify market trends and translate them into new products and viable revenue streams.
  • Create internal systems and a culture that positions the business as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to health & safety, compliance, and risk management across all events.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for operational challenges across the Brand division and wider business.

The Candidate

  • Extensive background in planning and delivering high-profile events within premium hospitality, catering, or experiential sectors.
  • Demonstrable success leading and scaling a high-performing events or brand division in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Five or more years experience leading high-performing teams, with a proven ability to inspire, develop, and retain talent.
  • Strong commercial acumen experienced in owning revenue targets, margins, and divisional P&L.
  • A natural relationship builder, highly credible with clients, venue partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with autonomy, able to make decisions and drive initiatives independently.
  • Dynamic, with a hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in alongside the team.
  • Operationally excellent, highly organised, and calm under pressure.
