Bilingual Pub General Manager – Strasbourg Adventure Awaits! (Relocation Provided)

Our client is a well-established international hospitality group with a proud tradition of running popular pubs and restaurants. With a growing presence in both the UK and France, they focus on creating memorable guest experiences rooted in quality service, great food, and an authentic atmosphere. In France, their venues combine the best of British hospitality with a local twist.

We’re looking for a dynamic, bilingual Pub General Manager to lead the Strasbourg site . You’ll be a natural leader who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving business performance. Fluency in both French and English is essential to connect with a diverse guest base and team.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management:

  • Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Hold regular team briefings and performance reviews.

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure every guest receives outstanding service in line with company standards.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively.
  • Maintain a warm, vibrant, and welcoming pub atmosphere.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage stock control, supplier orders, and inventory.
  • Comply with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Drive sales and profit targets.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Develop and deliver compelling marketing and promotional initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Proven success as a General Manager or Assistant Manager in hospitality (pubs, bars, or restaurants).
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken & written).
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to improve business performance.
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
