General Manager – Premium Pubs & Pubs with Rooms
Locations: Wiltshire | Salisbury | Cotswolds | Leamington Spa | St Albans
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 basic + tronc + bonus
The Opportunity
An award-winning group of premium pubs with rooms is strengthening its General Manager team ahead of a major growth phase, with seven new sites opening by September 2027.
General Managers will lead a premium site with full ownership of the team, guest experience and performance, with real scope to grow with the business as new openings come through.
The Role
Run your site as your own: leading from the floor, building a strong team and driving commercial results in a premium, food-led operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and retain a high-performing team, building succession and bench strength
- Be visible and hands-on, running service and setting the standard
- Drive sales and deliver like-for-like growth
- Own the P&L, with tight cost control and attention to detail
- Deliver consistently great food, drink and service
- Support the development of the site and future openings
The Candidate
- Proven General Manager in a premium, branded pub, hotel or restaurant operation
- Track record of like-for-like growth and strong command of the numbers
- Strong people leader with evidence of team development and succession planning
- Hands-on, commercially minded and detail focused
- Genuine passion for great food and service
- Operations or Area Managers looking to return to a site-based GM role are also welcome
