Salesforce Sales Cloud Implementation Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst owns the process and functional workstream of the programme, acting as the bridge between the business and delivery teams.

Responsible for translating current operating model and business requirements into a prioritised, well-defined backlog, the role ensures the build team has clear direction and can progress without delay.

Throughout design, development, testing and go-live, the Business Analyst represents the interests of all business units, ensuring their needs are understood, aligned and reflected in the solution.

Ultimately, this role is critical in keeping decisions flowing and preventing blockers that could impact delivery.

Key responsibilities for Salesforce Sales Cloud Implementation Business Analyst:

Map and document current inbound/outbound sales processes and all cross-business handoffs using BPMN swim lanes in Lucid.

Participate in data model and universal ID workshops, documenting how the golden record ID maps to Accounts, Contacts and Leads.

Gather, prioritise and manage business requirements as epics and user stories throughout the project lifecycle.

Define clear acceptance criteria for every user story before sprint delivery to establish agreed completion standards.

Support solution walkthroughs with business users, capture feedback, and continuously refine and reprioritise the backlog during Agile delivery.

Facilitate story refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and documentation of key business processes, handoffs and manual activities.

Develop training materials, define and coordinate UAT, support defect triage, validate migrated data, and maintain end-to-end traceability through sign-off.

Contribute to security and permissions design, including governance of key controls such as do-not-contact permissions.

Support deployment, cutover validation, training, knowledge transfer, go-live activities, and hypercare to ensure successful adoption across the business.

  • Experience and Skills for Salesforce Sales Cloud Implementation Business Analyst:
  • Proven business analysis experience on Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations, including participation in at least two end-to-end delivery lifecycles.
  • Strong process mapping capability using BPMN standards within Lucidchart or a comparable repository-based tool with version control.
  • Experience defining epics and user stories, writing clear acceptance criteria, and applying Mo SCo W prioritisation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defining test scenarios and acceptance criteria, facilitating testing sessions with business users, and effectively distinguishing defects from change requests.
  • Confident workshop facilitator, capable of engaging frontline sales representatives, operational managers and executive stakeholders to drive consensus and informed decision-making.
