I am currently working with a global Digital Transformation consultancy who are looking to engage a Digital Transformation Lead/Business Manager helping support the Director of Digital Engineering in making sure the technical roadmap is achieved. The role will involve leading the transformation and governance of the Delivery function in the business. This role offers the opportunity to drive the delivery and business improvement in an Enterprise level environment.

The Digital Transformation Lead/Business Manager will be responsible for:

  • Support the Digital Engineering roadmap and ensure that it is delivered against, and business objectives are communicated.
  • Play a key part in tech enablement within the business with a focus on process & business improvement and people transformation.
  • Understand how to contribute to Developer Experience and improvement as part of the Digital Engineering strategy.
  • Assist with the development of the Digital Engineering strategy, plan and roadmap for the year; align objectives and drive the completion of goals in line with the plan.
  • Work closely with the business to develop, implement and track KPI’s to monitor progress and success.
  • Help to build an engaged team and modern technology culture, with a clear communications strategy.
  • Prepare internal and external presentations for the IT Senior Leadership team, with a clear message & story and an eye for precise presentation & detail.
  • Work within the wider Business Manager community to prepare reports/presentations to the board and C level stakeholders.
  • Act as Business Continuity Coordinator for the team, ensuring applicable checks are carried out throughout the year working with the wider Digital Engineering leadership team.

The Digital Transformation Lead/Business Manager will have the following experience:

  • Experience in helping to build and deliver a Digital Engineering roadmap focused on Tech Enablement, Operational Governance and Business improvement.
  • Ability to understand issues at both Operational and Strategic levels and to influence stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Exposure to stakeholder management within a Digital Engineering function.
  • Technical delivery or programme experience would be highly desirable.

This role is an initial 6-12 month Contract role working for a global Digital Transformation business and is a B2B Contract Role. The role will be based remotely with 1-2 days in the office in London every week.
