Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a USA College Sports Consultant, based in Greater London with the flexibility of working from home part-time. The consultant will educate student athletes and families in the UK on the US college sport opportunities, assist international student-athletes with college placements by offering tailored guidance on sports scholarships, academic requirements, and the application process. Responsibilities include assessing athletic and academic potential, advising on college options, maintaining communication with colleges, and creating personalized strategies for each athlete’s recruitment journey. Additional tasks may involve liaising with families, providing coaching insights, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
This role will be made of 3 interview stages, and also requires a cover letter with the application. The interviews will take place across November/Early December.
The role start date will be January 2027.
The role offers a competitive salary with a high level performance commission structure and annual bonuses in place.
Qualifications
- Former USA college student-athlete (preferred)
- Bachelor's and/or Associate's Degree
- Experience in Sales, Recruitment, or Customer Service Role (desirable)
- Knowledge of USA college sports landscape
- Excellent Communication skills, particularly in advising young athletes and their families
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment, including remote and in-office tasks
- Passion to travel and to work outside 9-5 hours
- Looking for a long term role in a vastly growing business within the sport management industry
- Competitive nature
- Familiarity with the U.S. college athletics recruitment process is a plus
