We have an exciting opportunity for a Rental Agent to join our brand-new Tewkesbury Depot. As part of our Vehicle Hire Division, you’ll be contributing to a rapidly growing operation that provides a wide range of light commercial vehicles to an impressive portfolio of clients. Our customer base spans blue-chip corporations, public sector organisations, and medium-sized enterprises, all of whom rely on us for a dependable, flexible, and high-quality hire service.
You as a Rental Agent will be the key point of contact for our clients and internal colleagues within the Depot. In this customer-focused role, you will establish and develop new and existing business through building excellent relationships with our customers, assist with queries, offer advice, support and information, and recommend relevant company products. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You ensure bookings are placed on appropriate systems accurately and send out and retrieve paperwork where necessary.
- You establish new and develop existing business through relationships with customers via professional email and telephone correspondence.
- You answer calls from customers to assist with queries, offering advice, support, and information, and recommending company products.
- You complete all associated paperwork relating to vehicle transfers and yard checks.
- You maintain appropriate face-to-face interaction, hospitality, and professionalism towards clients on site.
- You accurately calculate rental estimates, chase quotes, and follow up.
With our Tewkesbury depot being a new start-up, please be aware that there will be occasions where additional responsibilities may be required to support day-to-day operations. This may include, but is not limited to, assisting with on-road activities such as delivery and collection work, helping to clean and prepare vehicles for upcoming bookings, and carrying out general depot support tasks as needed. As the site continues to grow, a flexible and proactive approach will be essential to ensure we deliver a smooth and reliable service to our customers.

- Experience: You bring significant experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced Agent role, preferably within the Hire industry.
