The role of People & Culture Business Partner at SIXT offers a unique opportunity to join a passionate and results-driven team committed to creating an outstanding workplace. If you have extensive experience in employee relations and a strong HR background, this maternity cover position is tailor-made for you. You will drive key HR strategies such as talent management, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver impactful solutions. This position is based in the UK with a flexible work model, combining office, home, and branch locations.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

  • You drive people culture, employee experience, engagement, and talent management initiatives across the organisation.
  • You partner with senior managers and leadership teams to align HR strategies with business priorities.
  • You provide expert guidance on employment policies and employee relations to support people leaders.
  • You take ownership by making decisions, earning trust and collaborating across teams.
  • You lead various HR projects and initiatives locally and globally to enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • You contribute to workforce planning, retention strategies, and continuous improvement for the people team.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

  • Experience: You bring at least 5 years of HR experience, including 2+ years as a business partner or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Expertise: You have thorough knowledge of UK employment law and practical application in employee relations.
  • Education: You hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or related area; CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Communication: You excel in interpersonal communication and can confidently present to audiences at all organisational levels.
  • Motivation: You have a positive 'can do' attitude and adapt flexibly to shifting priorities and unexpected challenges.
  • Tools: You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable managing hybrid working arrangements.
