Job Description
The Damage Manager is responsible for managing the entire vehicle damage function within a commercial fleet of 7,000 vehicles. This role leads a dedicated team overseeing damage claims, repair coordination, and customer recharging, ensuring efficient and compliant processes while maximising recharge recovery. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You lead, manage, and develop a team of Billing & Recharge Agents and Damage Claims Agents.
- You oversee the full damage lifecycle from incident report to case closure ensuring compliance with SLAs.
- You act as escalation point for complex or high-value damage cases and approve settlements above agent authority.
- You maintain and develop relationships with bodyshops and repair networks alongside the Senior Vehicle Repair Manager.
- You drive recharge recovery targets and produce detailed monthly reporting on damage volumes and financials.
- You ensure all damage processes comply with company policy, legislation, and contractual obligations.
