We currently have a great new opportunity for a Sixt Van & Truck Conversion Technician to join our friendly but driven team at our Newcastle Depot. Our Vehicle Hire Division hires a range of light commercial vehicles and trucks to companies ranging from blue chip corporations and public sector organisations to medium sized enterprises. The Van & Truck Conversion Technician will join us to carry out all vehicle modifications effectively and efficiently, and in line with our customers' specifications.
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- Build and install shelving, racking, and storage systems
- Remove and refit external and internal parts
- Fit auto-electrical equipment
- Fit and wire tow bars
- Carry out modifications to vans and trucks
- Maintain good housekeeping of the work area
- Make safe use of power tools and equipment where required
- Carry out other associated works as required
- Plylining all Commercial Vehicles
- Fit Security Locks
- Observe all relevant Health & Safety procedures
