Toolmaker Precision Engineering | Full Training Provided
We are currently recruiting for a Toolmaker to join the Tool Repair Department of a well-established and innovative engineering company. This department plays a vital role in supporting production by maintaining, repairing, and manufacturing high-precision tooling and machine components.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Toolmaker or precision machinist seeking to grow and develop further in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What Youll Be Doing:
Following full on-the-job training, youll be involved in:
Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on a wide variety of precision tooling.
Operating manual milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders to tight tolerances.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
Working closely with the production team to provide essential tooling support.
Suggesting improvements to tooling design and manufacturing processes.
What Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience as a Toolmaker or precision machinist in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of toolroom machinery and practices.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
The discipline to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
