Project Manager

An established UK-based organisation is working with us exclusively to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their engineering function. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reporting into senior technical leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading cross‑functional projects from initial concept through to successful delivery, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are consistently met.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple projects while working closely with internal teams and external partners. You will act as the central point of communication for stakeholders and ensure best‑practice project governance throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate internal teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure smooth execution
  • Manage day‑to‑day project activity, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans
  • Track and report on project performance, milestones, and budgets
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadershi
  • Conduct post‑project reviews and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry best practices

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a Project Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of project‑management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Trello
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is highly desirable
