A specialist manufacturing business operating at the cutting edge of advanced training technology is seeking a Technical Production Supervisor to lead and drive technical excellence within its Lathe Area department. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, offering strong progression opportunities as the business continues to expand.

The Technical Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and driving all technical aspects of a busy machining department, operating a fleet of multi-spindle lathe machines, a cold heading press, and associated ancillary equipment, all running on a continuous 24/7 basis. The department manufactures critical components used across the company’s core product range, making this a highly visible and business-critical position. With full training provided, responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including machinery and ancillary equipment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving component machining issues alongside the Lathe team
  • Working closely with the Production Supervisor to motivate the team and meet output targets
  • Delivering technical training and support to members of the Lathe Area team
  • Liaising with Production Control to plan and meet departmental requirements
