We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK-based engineering and manufacturing organisation for a Junior Project Manager to join their growing projects team.

The Role
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will support the coordination, administration, and delivery of multiple projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, finance, and administration teams to ensure projects run smoothly from handover through to delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, communication, and working across teams, and who is keen to develop their skills in project management, logistics, procurement, and engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple live projects
- Assist with project administration, scheduling, and progress reporting
- Support project handover from sales to the projects team
- Help identify documentation requirements and assist with Vendor Document Requirements Lists (VDRLs)
- Track documentation and key dates in coordination with project engineers
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules and milestone trackers
- Maintain an overview of all live projects and their current status
- Liaise with finance regarding invoicing milestones and project updates
- Support procurement activities, including supplier coordination and purchase order scheduling
- Assist with tracking key delivery milestones (materials receipt, assembly, testing, despatch readiness)
- Work with administration teams to support document control processes
- Assist with logistics coordination and preparation of shipping documentation
- Attend project meetings, record actions, and support follow-up activities
- Provide general support to ensure successful project delivery
About You
We are open to graduate or junior-level candidates who are looking to develop within a project-driven environment.
You may come from a background in:
- Project coordination or administration
- Engineering or manufacturing
- Logistics, procurement, or operations
- A graduate role with relevant placement or internship experience
Key skills and attributes:
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
