We are currently working with a leading engineering organisation at the forefront of innovative solutions in the energy sector. Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Project Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled and motivated individual to contribute to high-impact engineering solutions, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders across global projects.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering technical and engineering activities across complex projects. You’ll apply your knowledge, experience, and problem-solving abilities to overcome engineering challenges, support ongoing operations, and drive project success from concept through execution.
- Act as a key technical contact for projects.
- Lead engineering activities, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Liaise with internal departments and external clients to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Produce, review, and approve technical documentation including procedures, reports, calculations, and design packages.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of engineering activities.
- Identify and escalate engineering risks where appropriate.
BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
