We are partnering with a forward-thinking specialist in the building automation sector, seeking to expand their team with a talented Electronic Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of electronic and electrical circuits for cutting-edge product innovations. Your responsibilities will include schematic design, PCB layout, and integration of components into both new and existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCB Design for integration into systems, including:
- DALI driver design
- Bluetooth communication interfaces
- Relay circuits
- Lighting Control Modules (LCMs) & control modules for LED drivers
- PoE switches and drivers
- Sensors
Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree, diploma, apprenticeship, BTEC, or HND in Electronic Engineering
- Experience in circuit design and testing, ideally within lighting control, communication devices, or similar electronics
- Practical expertise in PCB schematic design, component selection, and layout integration
- Proficiency in product testing, fault finding, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards
- Knowledge of industry regulations (EMC, LVD, etc.)
- Some familiarity with embedded systems, software, or firmware testing (e.g., Bluetooth devices)
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers
- Experience in technical documentation, test specification writing, and troubleshooting records
