Technology, data and innovation are central to the company's future strategy, and they are now seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & Technology Lead to lead this function.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for Business Intelligence, Technology Strategy, AI, Automation and Business Systems.

The Role
Business Intelligence & Data
Business Intelligence will be at the heart of your role.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and continuously improving the organisation's reporting and analytics capability, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, timely and meaningful insight.
Key responsibilities include
- Defining and delivering the Business Intelligence strategy, roadmap and reporting standards.
- Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models and analytical solutions.
- Developing and maintaining the Azure SQL data warehouse, including data models, views, stored procedures and reporting datasets.
- Translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions that support operational, tactical and strategic decision‑making.
- Improving data quality, governance, documentation and reporting accuracy.
- Automating reporting processes while optimising SQL performance, Power BI models and datasets.
- Championing best practice across Business Intelligence, analytics and data management.
- Technology Leadership
You will provide strategic leadership across Technology and IT, ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and aligned with business objectives.
- Working alongside internal teams and external technology partners, you will:
- Develop and deliver the technology strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the internal IT function while managing third‑party providers and suppliers.
- Oversee governance, cyber security, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage technology budgets, software licensing and supplier performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business performance.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure technology supports business growth and efficiency.
- Artificial Intelligence & Automation

You will
- Develop and implement the AI and automation strategy.
- Identify and prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement practical AI‑enabled solutions.

- Business Systems & Digital Transformation
You will provide strategic oversight of the company's core business systems, ensuring they continue to support operational excellence and future growth.
Responsibilities include
- Providing oversight of CRM, reporting platforms and integrated business applications.
- Supporting digital transformation programmes and technology projects.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology and automation.
- Ensuring system integrations remain reliable, scalable and fit for future growth.
- Helping shape technology investment decisions that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in a senior Business Intelligence, Data or Technology leadership role.
- Advanced SQL Server and Azure SQL expertise.
- Extensive experience developing Power BI solutions, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
- Experience designing and maintaining SQL Server or Azure SQL data platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering Business Intelligence strategies, reporting solutions and technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercially focused with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dataverse, Azure, Microsoft Fabric or the Power Platform.
- Experience with AI, automation, APIs, Python or other scripting languages.
