Job Description
Senior Design Engineer Medical Devices
We are partnering with an innovative medical device company seeking to expand their design team. They are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical devices. This role offers the opportunity to work on both new product development and the enhancement of existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and refine diverse high-level design concepts.
- Create rapid prototypes to bring ideas to life.
- Conduct hands-on testing of prototypes to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Progress designs from initial concepts to fully developed, market-ready products.
- Prepare detailed reports for inclusion in technical files.
- Plan and contribute to program schedules and R&D activities related to the role.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in medical device design, including the preparation of design control and verification & validation documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
- Strong background in physical prototyping and development testing.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and constraints.
