Manufacturing Our client is a well-established, highly respected manufacturing business seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving a busy production facility, ensuring buildings, utilities and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with statutory requirements. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining site facilities, managing contractors and delivering infrastructure projects that support continuous production. Key Responsibilities Manage the maintenance and performance of building services, including electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. Oversee general building maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe and operational. Manage external contractors and service providers, including reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and issuing permits to work. Deliver facilities improvement projects, refurbishments and infrastructure upgrades from planning through to completion. Ensure statutory inspections, certifications and compliance requirements are maintained. Prepare and manage facilities maintenance budgets while controlling expenditure. Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation and compliance paperwork. Support production by ensuring all site utilities and facilities remain reliable and available. Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are followed. About You We're looking for an organised and proactive engineer with experience in facilities or building services within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will ideally have: A recognised qualification supported by practical experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Facilities Engineering. Experience managing building services and site infrastructure. Strong project management and contractor management skills. Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance. Experience managing maintenance budgets. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
