As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Executive to help amplify our presence on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, driving engagement and brand visibility with fresh, viral content.
The Role
As a Social Media Executive, your primary focus will be on creating, editing, and publishing high-frequency, engaging short-form video content across TikTok and YouTube Shorts. You\’ll be responsible for day-to-day posting, staying on top of viral trends, and working from a bank of video assets to deliver thumb-stopping content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Editing:
- Quickly edit and repurpose video assets to create engaging short-form content for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Ensure all content aligns with Six Stories’ brand voice, aesthetic, and values.
- Regularly experiment with new editing styles, audio trends, and video formats to optimise performance.
Posting and Scheduling:
- Take charge of day-to-day posting on TikTok and YouTube Shorts to maintain a high frequency of uploads.
- Monitor posting schedules to ensure consistency and alignment with trending times.
Trend Monitoring:
- Stay up to date with viral content, platform trends, and algorithm changes to identify opportunities for Six Stories to tap into.
- React quickly to trending topics and ideas to keep the brand relevant and engaging.
Engagement and Analytics:
- Monitor and respond to comments and interactions to foster a sense of community on TikTok and YouTube.
- Track performance metrics for all posts, identifying areas for improvement and optimising content strategies to increase reach and engagement.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align social content with broader campaigns and product launches.
- Provide feedback on new video assets, ensuring content is optimised for short-form platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience managing TikTok or YouTube content, preferably for a fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand.
- Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar software. Must have the ability to turn around edits quickly.
- Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and their algorithms, as well as viral trends and audience behaviour.
- Creativity: Strong creative flair with the ability to produce content that captivates and engages.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage a fast-paced posting schedule and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Metrics-Driven: Comfortable analysing performance data to refine content strategies and deliver measurable results.
