I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform the turndown service in guest rooms – turndown the bed linen, adjust lighting to create a relaxing ambience, close curtains/blinds for privacy and comfort.
  • Assist guests with special needs and requirements.
  • Stock supply wheel trolley with required cleaning and amenity supplies for shift.
  • Replace hotel supplies in public areas.
  • Dust and cleans lampshades, ceiling, walls, curtains and decorations in all public areas and rooms.
  • Wipe and polish all furniture, mirrors, and windows.
  • Clean all bathroom fixtures and fittings and replace bathroom supplies.
  • Remove all garbage and recyclable items and sort in the appropriate bins.
  • Replace water bottles in guest rooms and assist the Minibar team with cleaning and sanitizing glass bottles as needed.
  • Ensure monthly scheduled deep cleaning tasks of all guest areas and rooms are done accordingly.
  • Report required repair to Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
  • Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 years’ experience in a similar operational setting.
  • Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.
  • Basic in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
