Through my presence and service, I will deliver a warm, genuine welcome and seamless arrival experience for all members, guests, residents, and hotel visitors, while supporting and collaborating with my team to consistently exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Take guest orders from any food & beverage outlet.
  • Provide exceptional service at all times following standards and steps of service.
  • Greet guests on arrival and conduct welcome and check‑in procedures in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently.
  • Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list, ensure designated amounts are available, and update menus or wine lists as changes occur.
  • Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact Management.
  • Check areas prior to opening to guests and ensure all areas are clean, properly equipped and in a high standard of maintenance.
  • Maintain the guest recognition program, taking special care with food likes and dislikes and allergies or special dietary requests.
  • Communicate guest feedback, inquiries, and comments. Follow up with management.
  • Supervise the Restaurant Junior Commis team, in particular with Opening and Closing.
  • Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities.
  • Have good knowledge of all F&B outlets opening hours.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
  • Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including MICROS/point of sell platforms. I have knowledge of hotel policies on discounts/food promotion.
  • I am familiar with Food and Beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory.
  • Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
