As Housekeeping Coordinator, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness. Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assign rooms to the Room Attendants and support the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping operation.
- Answer all internal and external Housekeeping telephone and email inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible and routing calls to proper extensions.
- Monitor daily arrivals according to occupancy report.
- Monitor and log all Housekeeping/Laundry/Valet and other guest requests and communicate with multiple departments to ensure completion. Assist guests with special preferences and requirements.
- Liaise with Engineering team to ensure swift response to room maintenance issues.
- Assist in ordering as necessary any items required by the department.
- Create weekly schedules and complete weekly productivity for all Housekeeping hosts, and update payroll system.
- Organise the Housekeeping office to ensure files are updated.
- Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
- Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
- Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
