Responsibilities
- Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing guest needs and requests, and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum guest satisfaction while complying with resort standards and policies.
- Accommodate special requests whenever possible.
- Assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- Coordinate with departments for transfer related requests and assist guests with transfers to and from the hotel if required.
- Recommend, plan, schedule and arrange activities for guests during their stay.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of local key occurrences (directions, monuments, activities, restaurants, shopping, museums, etc.).
- Upsell hotel facilities and activities.
- Maintain knowledge and adhere to LQA standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in a similar operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Technical skills include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems (POS, PMS, CRM). Strong knowledge of guest-related functions, guest service and local area.
- Excellent command of the English language with confident communication skills. A second language is an advantage.
- Computer literate with problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
