Duties and Responsibilities
- To be competent on HVAC systems
- Ensure full compliance with L8 regulations, including conducting all required water testing.
- Assist shift engineers and Spa and facility engineer with daily tasks as necessary.
- Complete scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all storage and workshop areas.
- Report any issues or non-compliance to the appropriate hosts.
- Focus and review regularly through my physical presence, our rigorous adherence to LQA standards
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the engineering coordinator.
- Support the leadership of daily operations, including logistical management, maintenance, and repair of all Fire Life Safety systems.
- Assist with fulfilling guest requests and provide support to all operational departments as directed by the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications
- College Technical Diploma or degree in Engineering in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplines and more than two yearsβ experience in a similar hotel engineering role.
- Technical skills include the ability to analyse and design projects, conduct investigations and maintaining full knowledge of engineering-related products and services used in property.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
