Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Soak, pre-wash and wash all food & beverage operating equipment.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils such as pots and pans are always clean, in a good working condition and ready for use.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and working areas are mopped and clean at all times.
  • Keep the dishwashing machine and cleaning equipment in a clean, hygienic and functional state.
  • Check and record dishwashing temperature on a daily basis.
  • Sort and distribute all clean equipment to assigned shelving.
  • Clean the wash tanks, mop and reorganise all washing equipment.
  • Clean the pot washing equipment and working area to the hygiene standards.
  • Complete HACCP forms daily and file accordingly.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of your working environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation.
  • My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school education or vocational / technical certification in hospitality and at least 1 year’s experience in a similar hotel operational role.
  • Technical skills include familiar with food and hygiene codes, and various hotel systems including operational knowledge of dishwashing machine.
  • Basic command of written and spoken English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
  • All candidates must hold the right to work in the UK to be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
