About the role

This role will support the Head of Rugby Partnerships and Head of Athlete & Rugby Services within the Rugby Department and will contribute to the ongoing project management and delivery of international competitions through to June 2026. This will be an opportunity to gain an understanding of the processes and governance levels within sport as well as working across the team and rugby services function, providing high quality support to the organisation.

Although this role is working at the London office, the demands of this role may mean some unsociable hours and weekend work due to the nature of working in sport.

As a Rugby Services Executive you will:

  • Provide valuable support within the existing governance processes of international competitions
  • Work across the team and rugby services function, assisting with the planning and implementation of the programme across competitions
  • Support the coordination of project activities, including accurate and timely entry into project tracking systems and tools.
  • Conduct research and deliver clear and accurate analysis that will support the operational and strategic planning of international competitions
  • Draft and input into the creation of documents and reports ensuring all information is presented in a clear and concise manner
  • Assist in the scheduling of meetings with internal and external parties working across multiple time zones
  • Support the on-going communication with key rugby stakeholders across the game

The candidate we are looking for can demonstrate:

  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • French, Italian and/or an additional language would be beneficial
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Advanced level MS Office skills across all packages, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint
