As Corporate Affairs Manager, you will sit at the heart of the organisation's governance and regulatory framework, working closely with senior leaders, the Board and external partners. The role offers high visibility and real influence, spanning corporate governance, outsourcing oversight, claims management and risk. You will lead critical processes, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement, while acting as a trusted adviser across the business and delivering assurance with precision and judgement.
What You Will Do
- Manage financial oversight and supplier relationships, including invoice validation, payment reconciliation, tax compliance, banking arrangements and effective vendor controls.
- Lead the outsourcing framework, owning policy implementation, managing third party providers, managing contracts, and monitoring performance against regulatory and service standards.
- Own claims management and risk oversight, acting as the focal point for claims activity and leading the annual Corporate Affairs risk review and mitigation planning.
- Act as a key Corporate Affairs partner, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, including regular and ad-hoc FCA reporting, and smooth delivery of governance priorities.
- Manage the annual accounts process, coordinating with Finance colleagues and the statutory auditor to ensure that the annual accounts and Directors' report are prepared and approved according to agreed timescales.
What You Bring
- University degree in economics, finance, banking and/or a comparable education.
- While not essential, knowledge of SAP would be considered a distinct advantage.
- Superb organisational skills, flexible, result oriented, fast acting.
- Excellent communication skills; customer and service orientation.
- Fluent English mandatory; knowledge of an additional language would be advantageous (particularly German or Spanish).
