About The Role

The Managed Services team offers a 24/7 support framework for our clients, primarily focusing on Event Management, Patching, Planned Maintenance, and Change planning and implementation. In support of these key areas of delivery, the team collaborate with all areas of Operational Delivery to ensure proactiveness is at the heart of everything we do. The collaborative approach includes working with service transition, problem and change management, automation, and continual process improvement.

Our Managed Services Engineers serve as the main escalation point for customer incidents or requests. Besides the reactive aspect of the position, our Managed Services Engineers oversee planned maintenance tasks and manage the lifecycle of patching across various technologies, which includes post-patch analysis. Additionally, they collaborate closely with the Senior Managed Services Engineers to guarantee optimal saturation and compliance for Antivirus, Monitoring, and Backups. The role is crucial in the technical dimensions of Incident Management, Service Requests, and Problem Management associated with their product expertise. Additionally, it entails the responsibility of sustaining and enhancing the technical competencies necessary to deliver these services to our clients, in alignment with our performance metrics and service level agreements.

Role Requirements

The position requires your presence at our datacentre on a rotational basis of 4 days on and 4 days off, alternating between day and night shifts. Candidates should have a strong technical background in VMware, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Azure and Virtual Desktop. There is an expectation candidates should be ITIL V3 Foundation certified. The Managed Services Engineer role requires SC clearance.
