Six Degrees is recruiting for a large group who are looking for an ambitious project coordinator to lead a transformational period within the business.
Purpose of the role
To drive and support the implementation of changes and improvements throughout the business, with a particular focus on the delivery of technology solutions. As a business with ambitious growth plans, this role plays a pivotal part in developing the future for our client’s people and our customers. With self-drive and perseverance, the project manager will be responsible for coordinating people and teams, managing resources, and executing projects via strategic thinking, leadership skills, and creativity along with three mindsets: intellectual curiosity, learning and positivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Change & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and propose initiatives that improve business operations through enhancements in processes and/or technology.
- Evaluate and champion opportunities for automation and digital transformation to elevate customer experience and optimise internal efficiencies.
- Develop and present well-structured business cases to secure stakeholder support and budget approval for change initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, key deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Create, maintain, and track comprehensive project plans, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Manage the allocation and coordination of internal and external resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with the developer to support the enhancement and integration of IT systems and business processes.
- Design and lead implementation strategies, including process changes and user training, to ensure smooth transitions.
- Act as the central point of contact for all project-related communications and updates.
- Lead supplier sourcing strategies to identify innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to secure optimal pricing, service terms, and delivery timelines.
- Facilitate clear, timely, and consistent communication across teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, presentations, and written reports.
- Identify project risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project execution closely, addressing issues or blockers as they arise to minimise disruption.
- Track project budgets, ensuring expenditures are controlled and aligned with financial targets.
- Report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive and organised documentation, including project plans, change logs, and post-project evaluations.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
