Our client makes a range of popular sauces, chutneys and preserves which are sold across the Uk through independent food retailers, deli’s , farm shops and other retailers. Their business has grown rapidly over the last 4 years due to ongoing success and adding a major food outlet to their client list. As such they are now looking to add to the small but enthusiastic team. They are now looking to add an office manager to their team, to assist and manage the day-to-day office requirements. Responsibilities * Manage sales administration tasks, including taking and processing orders, invoices, dealing with queries and ensuring the customer receives a first class service. * Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and provide support regarding products and services. * Undertake daily invoicing. * Book transport company to despatch orders. * Maintain an organised office environment, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and efficiently. * Handling incoming sales orders and making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers. * Manage a team of 4 part time tasting staff, liaising with customers to organise and then implement tasting events. * Assisting the MD with diary management and general running of the company. Experience * Proven experience in sales administration or a similar role is required, minimum 4 years. * Strong computer literacy in using accounting software and Excel. * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. * Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple tasks effectively. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
