We are looking for a First Line Engineer to join our London based Service Desk Team, and play a key role in the delivery of a brilliant service and first class technical support across our growing client base. The Service Desk Team is a core team within the business – it’s the first point of contact for our clients, and is heavily involved in the delivery of timely and effective technical solutions.

As a First Line Engineer you will be an integral part of the team, as you will need to work quickly and efficiently to understand issues, troubleshoot problems, provide resolutions or escalate to the appropriate teams. You will be in contact with clients at all times, and will need to set expectations and update them – great customer service and communication are as important to this role as strong technical skills.

This will be a broad and challenging position – you will have the opportunity to get involved with a wide range of different technologies, and to work with clients across our portfolio. We are looking for people who are passionate about technology, who are keen to learn, and who pride themselves on delivering first class customer service.

You will need to be ambitious, proactive and able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment. You will also need strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, a solid technical knowledge of core Microsoft products, and the ability to pick things up quickly.

In return we can offer you a fantastic platform from which you can realise your brilliance. You’ll have a hugely knowledgeable team around you, constant opportunities to learn and develop your skills, and in the long term, defined career progression into a wide range of different technical teams.

We are looking for people who have proven IT support experience in a commercial environment. It can be quite fast paced here, so if you’re used to working in a similar setting then all the better. We are also looking for people who have experience with the following technologies:

  • Windows Operating Systems and Servers
  • Ideally, experience with ITIL processes and IT ticketing systems

In addition, you will need first class communication skills, a positive and proactive approach and the desire to learn. If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you.
