Are you a skilled Handyman with a passion for maintaining and improving facilities?
Six by Nico is a vibrant and unique restaurant group focusing around a themed six course tasting menu, currently thriving in Scotland, Northern Ireland & England. We provide an experience that allows customers to delve into a Six Course Tasting Menu, that is curated & re-imagined every Six Weeks. Each menu takes inspiration from a Destination, Memory, or Idea. For each of these themes, Nico and his team of development chefs curate a six course tasting menu around it.
We are currently seeking a reliable and versatile Handyman to join our dynamic maintenance team within our multi-site hospitality group.
This role will initially see you working between our London Canary Wharf and Fitzrovia sites, with the sites with company expansion.
The post holder will be expected to have a degree of flexibily to undertake this role, be self motivated and able to work on their own without supervision.
Please note, a drivers license is essential for this role.
As a Handyman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our diverse range of facilities across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building systems across multiple sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and address them proactively.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders from different sites promptly, prioritising tasks based on urgency and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines across all sites, ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with site managers and the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and plans for each site, minimising equipment downtime and extending the lifespan of assets.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and related documentation for each site. Generate reports on maintenance tasks, expenses, and equipment performance as required.
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment across sites, facilitate procurement processes, and ensure the availability of necessary materials for repairs and maintenance tasks.
