The role of Head Chef will see you supervising and coordinating the delivery of high‑quality food in a busy and fast‑paced kitchen environment. You will demonstrate your leadership with a hands‑on approach. It will be your responsibility to set the standard of the kitchen by displaying the ability to lead and work well with others. Due to the fast pace in which we work, organisational skills and the ability to multitask is paramount.

As a Head Chef at Six by Nico, you will:

  • Control and oversee the seasoning, portioning and appearance of the food served
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and front of house
  • Excellent communication and the ability to lead and also work well with others
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety
  • Be committed to delivering first‑class service
  • Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
