We are currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef, who is an enthusiastic and driven individual, to help lead the team at Six by Nico.

The role of Sous Chef will see you work closely with the Head Chef in overseeing the entire kitchen operation. You will assist in supervising your team and coordinating the delivery of high quality food, in a busy and fast paced kitchen environment. You will have enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge in the kitchen as well as the people around you.

As a Sous Chef at Six by Nico, you will:

  • Have the ability to control and oversee the seasoning, portioning and appearance of the food served
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and front of house
  • Excellent communication and the ability to lead and also work well with others
  • Have a good knowledge & understanding on food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety
  • Be committed to delivering first class service
  • Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
