We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef, who is an enthusiastic and driven individual, to join the team at Six by Nico.
The role involves working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, assisting in supervising your team and coordinating the delivery of high quality food in a busy and fast paced kitchen environment. You will have enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge in the kitchen as well as the people around you.
As a Junior Sous Chef at Six by Nico, you will:
- Have the ability to control and oversee the seasoning, portioning and appearance of the food served
- Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and front of house
- Exhibit excellent communication and the ability to lead and also work well with others
- Have a good knowledge & understanding of food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety
- Be committed to delivering first class service
- Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask
- Possess good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
