Location: Belfast; Six by Nico Belfast, 23-31 Waring St, Belfast BT1 2DX
Contract: 12-week Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: Β£35,000 base salary, plus a completion bonus of up to 10% for successful completion of the Fixed-Term Contract
Reports to: Head of Marketing; working day-to-day with the Social Content Lead
There is the potential for this role to become permanent following the initial 12-Week Contract, with a defined OTE and bonus structure attached to the permanent position.
About us
Six by Nico launches a new six-course menu every six weeks across 13 restaurants in the UK and Ireland.
A new story. A new world. Every restaurant changing at once.
What we don't have is someone in each city who can tell people about it like a friend rather than a brand.
The role
We're looking for someone to become the face and voice of Six by Nico in their city.
You'll be on camera, in the restaurant, in the comments and part of the conversations your city is already having.
You'll start by supporting one of our key restaurant launches or relaunches, before building a consistent local content rhythm, including a recognisable weekly series designed to introduce Six by Nico to new audiences.
This is a hands-on role. You'll plan it, shoot it, edit it, publish it and own how Six by Nico shows up locally.
Roles and responsibilities
Be the face of the brand in your city
- Front our local content on camera, hosting, introducing, reacting and talking directly to our audience
- Build a recognisable local presence and a genuine relationship with the people who follow us in your city
- Keep Six by Nico part of the conversations your city is having each week, finding relevant angles that naturally put us into them
- Manage comments and DMs in your own voice, responding within 24 hours on trading days
- Build relationships with local creators, personalities, communities and audiences
Launch support
- Cover launches and relaunches in your city end-to-end, including the build-up, previews, opening and first weeks of service
- Be on site for every key launch date, with relevant content captured and live on the day
- Create momentum before launch and maintain it once the restaurant is trading
- Learn the brand, restaurant and content standards by working closely with our Social Content Lead
Always-on content creation and management
Create regular content around:
- The venue: the room, interiors, bar and the details people might otherwise walk past
- What's on and when: menu announcements, first access, launch days and what's live this week, delivered directly to camera
- Food and drink: the dishes, serves and stories behind them
- Fast and topical: daily TikToks, Reels and reactive content with the potential to travel
- The city: relevant events, conversations, trends and moments where Six by Nico can naturally join in
- Brand and service messaging: delivered like a person rather than a sign
The weekly series
You'll own and deliver a recurring weekly content series that becomes recognisable to both you and your city.
Our starting idea is simple: every week, bring someone new to Six by Nico who has never been before.
It could be a stranger, a friend of a friend, someone you've met in the city, or somebody in town for a gig, match or event. We meet them through you and experience Six by Nico alongside them.
You'll source and book the guests, plan the episode, shoot it, edit it and publish it every week.
Consistency matters. The series needs to become something our audience expects to see.
Local content for paid media
- Create short-form, targeted content designed specifically to run as paid social advertising, separate from the organic content layer
- Work to marketing briefs based on audience and objective, including experiences, group bookings, lunch occasions and things to do this weekend
- Deliver at least one ad-ready creative cut each month
- Review performance alongside the central Marketing team and understand what is outperforming our core creative
Planning, process and reporting
- Build the local content plan before the pilot begins and review it weekly
- Work to a clear weekly cycle: plan ? sign-off ? shoot ? edit ? sign-off ? live
- Maintain shoot, edit and publishing dates in a shared calendar at least two weeks ahead
- Turn content around from shoot to live within 48 hours
- Report weekly on reach, views, saves, shares, follower growth and link clicks
- Use performance data to explain what worked, what didn't and what you're changing next
What we're looking for
- You're from your city or know it properly. You understand what people are talking about, where they're going and what gets their attention
- You're confident on camera and capable of holding a room, an interview and a stranger's attention
- You can shoot and edit high-quality content on your phone, quickly
- You understand vertical, native, sound-on content and what makes people stop scrolling
- You genuinely understand TikTok and Instagram as platforms with their own language, rather than simply places to post content
- You've created content that people have actually watched, whether on your own channels, for a brand, or both
- You're comfortable approaching people and turning everyday interactions into content
- You're organised enough to run a plan and honest enough to say when something hasn't worked
- You can move quickly, experiment and respond to trends without needing everything mapped out weeks in advance
- You're comfortable working within a brand standard: experiment freely, protect the brand always
What happens after the 12 weeks?
This role is initially being recruited as a 12-week fixed-term position, giving us the opportunity to build and test a new model of hyper-local social content.
For the right person, there is the opportunity for the role to become permanent, with an established salary and OTE bonus structure based on the ongoing success and growth of the role.
