We are looking for an experienced SCADA Architect, Lead SCADA Engineer or Senior SCADA Engineer.
- Strong experience in energy, utilities, electricity transmission or distribution environments.
- Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following: ADMS, EMS or DERMS.
- Strong understanding of Distribution Management Systems (DMS).
- Experience delivering telemetry and remote monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of OT environments and industrial control systems.
- Experience integrating RTUs, substations and field devices.
- Familiarity with industry protocols including IEC 61850, IEC 60870‑5‑101/104, DNP3 and OPC.
- Understanding of network control centre operations and smart grid technologies.
- Experience with renewable energy integration, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), distributed energy resources, flexibility markets and OT cyber security programmes.
- Experience with platforms such as Siemens Spectrum Power, Schneider Electric ADMS, GE PowerOn, OSI Monarch, Hitachi Energy Network Manager or ABB Network Manager desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and support enterprise‑scale SCADA architectures and solutions.
- Lead integration of SCADA platforms with ADMS, EMS and DERMS environments.
- Deliver real‑time telemetry, monitoring and control capabilities across operational networks.
- Support Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and Network Management Systems (NMS) initiatives.
- Define and implement OT communications strategies, including RTU and substation integrations.
- Collaborate with operational, engineering and technology teams to improve network visibility and resilience.
- Support smart grid, renewable integration and grid modernisation programmes.
- Provide technical leadership across SCADA and OT workstreams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, cyber security requirements and best practices.
