We are looking for an experienced Application Developer with a degree in a relevant business or technology discipline, and/or experience delivering complex technology and change projects using appropriate technologies focused on digital and application/system-based projects. We need strong technical knowledge in areas such as cloud computing, Microsoft Power Platform, web application frameworks, and database management systems.
We are looking for experience using technology toolsets to build solutions for internal and external users. We need the ability to apply a broad range of problem-solving, automation, and networking skills. We require the confidence to communicate complex systems and concepts clearly to colleagues at all levels, including Senior Management. We need someone who can balance conflicting priorities and deliver successful projects and performance outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with key internal colleagues to understand business needs and translate them into system specifications for changes and enhancements.
- Turn business analysis into solution designs that deliver the required system changes and improvements.
- Develop designed solutions using an appropriate suite of development tools.
- Configure system data and integrations while building and deploying new modules.
- Engage with external suppliers when required to develop operational systems.
- Develop test plans for system changes and enhancements and carry out rigorous testing, including user testing.
