Requirements
- Strong background in a generalist 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer or Consulting role.
- Experience as a client-facing SME proposing technical solutions.
- Solid experience deploying and configuring Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, Azure, Entra ID, M365, Autopilot, and Intune.
- Strong TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting experience.
- Virtualisation experience, ideally with Hyper‑V and Azure integration, SANs, and related technologies.
- Experience with backup product sets such as Veeam and Azure Backup.
- Firewall technology experience such as Palo Alto.
- Experience leading migration projects.
- Strong documentation skills, including experience with compliance documentation such as PCI Compliance and ISO27001.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and by telephone, with strong written and spoken English.
- Personable individual who can build rapport with multiple IT teams and integrate with both our technical team and client IT departments.
- Punctual, thorough worker with strong attention to detail.
- IT qualifications would be an advantage, but are not essential.
- Valid UK driving licence required.
- Living close to our Chertsey office would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of projects across our client base.
- Assist other technical teams with third line escalations until resolution is reached.
- Liaise with clients and vendors to maintain a positive flow of communication.
- Mentor junior team members on both technical and process matters.
- Support our clients and internal teams as a trusted technical consultant.
- Available to work from our Chertsey HQ and travel to London and other international client locations as required.
