Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and delivering complex technology solutions, ideally in public sector, government, or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, NAF, or Zachman.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
- Strong understanding of Web Applications, Microservices, APIs, authentication/authorization protocols, and data architecture.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices, GDPR, OWASP, and NCSC cloud security principles.
- Experience delivering AI‑based solutions, real‑time data integration, or IoT solutions is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience providing guidance to senior stakeholders and influencing solution design across multiple teams.
- Track record of mentoring and developing internal teams, promoting best practices and capability growth.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to provide innovative solutions in complex environments.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design of large and highly complex systems, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the project lifecycle to embed architectural considerations into all phases of delivery.
- Provide technical guidance, governance, and mentorship to development and delivery teams.
- Evaluate technical designs, changes, and proposals, making recommendations and assessing associated risks.
- Develop technology roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies to inform future solutions.
- Act as a technical authority during client engagements, proof‑of‑concepts, and pre‑sales activities.
- Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices, including security and compliance considerations.
