Requirements
- Proven track record delivering in fast-paced, high-performing change environments
- Hands-on experience with IT software implementations, integrations, system rollouts, and business change projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels, including senior internal relationships and external providers
- Skilled at producing high-quality written deliverables such as process flows, data requirements, and UI specifications
- Confident working in matrix project teams with a high degree of autonomy
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Business-outcome thinking, with the ability to frame requirements in terms of value rather than just features
- Strong analytical and organisational ability, with a methodical approach to problem solving
- Change control awareness and the ability to manage scope effectively
- Collaborative mindset that brings people along and builds alignment
- BCS Business Analysis Foundation or Diploma is desirable
- PMI-PBA certification is desirable
- Familiarity with PRINCE2, Waterfall, or Agile methodologies is desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activity across IT implementation, integration, and configuration projects
- Conduct in-depth process mapping and requirements gathering with stakeholders across the organisation
- Translate complex business needs into clear, structured specifications, user stories, and design documentation
- Resolve design issues proactively by anticipating downstream impacts before they become problems
- Work closely with IT teams and third-party providers to ensure project requirements are understood and delivered
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our BA function by proposing new ways of working and raising standards
- Provide peer coaching and quality assurance support for more junior members of the team
- Engage senior stakeholders with confidence, manage expectations, and influence outcomes
