We are looking for an ambitious IT Service Desk Engineer who is motivated by progression into leadership. We require strong experience providing 1st and 2nd line support in an enterprise-level environment. We need solid experience supporting Windows OS and Microsoft 365. We require familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint. We are looking for confident experience with Active Directory, user administration, and Group Policy. We require networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP. We need hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or a similar ITSM platform. We are looking for someone comfortable working in a 24/7/365 shift environment. We value a proactive mindset, ownership, and the ability to support and guide junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver confident 1st and 2nd line support across a busy enterprise-level environment.
- Own incidents from start to finish and drive them to fast, effective resolution.
- Act as the go-to person for escalations and team support as Deputy Shift Leader.
- Support and guide junior engineers and help raise team performance.
- Help improve processes, service quality, and overall team effectiveness.
- Take ownership in a high-energy shift environment and contribute to smooth service desk operations.
- Work on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern and provide support within a hybrid working model, with 1 day per week in the office.
