We are looking for a senior-level engineer with hands-on experience across Microsoft 365. We need strong capability in Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, endpoint security, Copilot, and SharePoint. We require a solid background in Microsoft security tooling and secure design. We prefer experience working in MSP or multi-tenant environments. We are looking for someone confident working directly with customers at both technical and business levels. We value relevant Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, MD-102, and SC or AZ security pathways. PowerShell scripting and automation experience is desirable. Exposure to Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel is desirable. Experience contributing to or improving technical standards across teams is desirable. We are looking for someone who can support a hybrid working model in Stonehouse, with 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical authority and escalation point for complex incidents and projects.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, translating business needs into secure technical solutions.
  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and help upskill junior engineers.
  • Contribute to technical standards and help shape our technical direction.
  • Design, deploy, and optimise Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups.
  • Lead tenant reviews, remediation activities, and platform standardisation.
  • Drive adoption of secure and governed modern working practices.
  • Support migrations and transformations from legacy or poorly configured environments.
  • Design and manage secure identity architectures using Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Implement and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Engineer and operate Microsoft security tooling, including Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
  • Apply Zero Trust principles and Microsoft security best practices.
  • Support customer compliance needs, including ISO 27001-aligned controls and GDPR considerations.
  • Architect and manage device estates using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Define secure baseline configurations for Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Improve device security posture, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Use PowerShell and automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and internal standards.
  • Work with operations teams to improve repeatability and service quality.
